Bond In Investing Savings Township voters will be asked in November whether the township
should spend $1.9 million for facilities at Maple Grange Park. But
a proposal for a second bond ordinance and referendum, which would
have allocated an additional $2.7 million for park facilities, has
been rescinded by the Township Council, Councilman Neil Desmond
said Sunday.
A polar bond between hydrogen and a very electronegative element, such as O, N or F, allows a unique secondary bonding between the partially positive hydrogen and atoms with a partial negative charge. The attraction between hydrogen and these negative species is called the hydrogen bond, which is much weaker than the primary polar bond. Hydrogen bonding exists between water molecules because the electronegativity difference between hydrogen and oxygen is 1.4, indicating a polar bond of about 36% ionic character. Refer to Figure 1 .

referendum question, both questions would have been put to voters
in the general election.
Carbon always forms four covalent bonds (4 shared pairs of electrons) that may be present as 4 single bonds per atom, or 2 single bonds and 1 double bond, or 1 single bond and 1 triple bond.

township sporting groups last week, said Desmond. And based on the
history of the project, feedback from the groups and the

second ordinance would confuse the issue. People would possibly not
know what they were voting for.

Municipal Bonds Investment On July 7, the council approved on second reading, a $1.9
million bond ordinance and referendum question authorizing the
construction of park facilities on Maple Grange Road. A second bond
ordinance for $2.7 million for additional park facilities was
proposed at the meeting, which was carried to Friday morning, where
the new ordinance would have been introduced on first reading.
Bond Terms Trading The $1.9 million bond included construction of soccer fields, a
soccer/lacrosse field, two baseball diamonds, a softball field,
roller hockey rink, roads, parking, and drainage. The additional
bond ordinance for $2.7 million would have included football
fields, restrooms, a snack pavilion, and bocce court. Added
together, the bond ordinances were reminiscent of the original pair
of bond ordinances totaling $4.7 million that were successfully
petitioned against by roughly 1,700 Vernon residents who forced the
council to either put the ordinances up for referendum in November
or rescind them.
