IABC/Chicago Features Chicago Journalists at June 16 Luncheon

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 2004--The Chicago Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC/Chicago) will present a panel presentation on "Getting Results from the Media - From the Journalist's Perspective" at a luncheon on June 16.
The panel discussion will give Chicago-area communications and public relations professionals an opportunity to ask journalists the best way to pitch stories, and to hear first-hand from journalists about how to best forge a relationship with the press. Panel participants include: Christine Woolsey, online editor, Crain's Chicago Business; Dan Miller, business editor, Chicago Sun Times; Rob Karweth, associate managing editor, business and financial news, The Chicago Tribune and James Kane, business editor, Daily Herald.

The event will be held at Maggiano's Little Italy, 516 North Clark Street, Chicago. The Business Wire-sponsored program will begin at 11 a.m. with networking, followed by lunch at 11:30 a.m. and the speaker presentation at 12:30 p.m.
