Henderson Tag Flag
Author:
Staff A crew that goes the extra mile to tag and release their billfish deserves a little credit for their accomplishments back at the dock. Before the invention of the tag flag, crews had to walk the dock bragging, which, although a lot of fun, can quickly turn into a time-consuming habit. Tag flags did away with a little bit of the bragging, but came with a whole host of problems all their own. Traditional tag flags are expensive, fragile and hard to hang. Henderson Australia kept those faults in mind when designing its new all-weather Tag Flag.
Made from a polyester-reinforced PVC, the Henderson Tag Flag resists fading and is strong enough to last several seasons flapping in the wind. These flags come packaged in rolls for easy storage and to eliminate nasty creases. A reinforced Velcro header also lets crews attach the flag to the halyard with ease. A large white T on the bright-red background lets everyone know that the fish you caught are still swimming.
